In October, three Orange County cities partnered with Human Options to highlight relationship violence through walking vigils with glowing lavender luminaries. Elected officials and police joined community members in Costa Mesa (third year), Irvine (second year) and Santa Ana (inaugural year) to walk a path illuminated by survivor stories for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. These walks emphasize the crucial partnerships between communities and Human Options in ending relationship violence. Reveille amplified this message, with KCAL/KCBS, KABC, KNX and the Daily Pilot sharing the story across Southern California.
