Localized Efforts Keep the OC Diaper Bank’s Doors Open and Fully Funded

This spring, thousands of families were at risk of losing access to basic essentials for infants as state funding for the OC Diaper Bank was set to expire in June. Faced with this looming deadline, the leadership team at Community Action Partnership of Orange County (CAP OC) worked tirelessly throughout the process of attempting to save the program. We are so proud to tout the success of their efforts, as CAP OC secured enough funding to keep the diaper bank open at full capacity for the next two years!

The OC Diaper Bank is a crucial safety net that has delivered more than 47 million diapers to families in need since its inception. The program serves 10,000 children monthly through 80+ distribution partners, including another Reveille client, Families Forward, which has seen increased demand from families seeking these essential resources to make ends meet.
