Vanguard University’s new Freed Center for Leadership and Service, a 61,000-square-foot hub of energy and innovation, is part of VU’s 30-year master plan. This state-of-the-art space features classrooms, labs, athletic facilities, a 1,910-seat gym, and premier workout areas, serving over 450 student athletes and the popular Kinesiology major.
The grand opening drew students, faculty, and local officials for music, speeches, and a celebratory “first basket” on the new court. Thanks to a $10 million gift from the Freed Family, the center has already gained attention with coverage in the Daily Pilot, Orange County Business Journal, Blue Door Magazine’s newsletter, Athletic Business, and AG News.
