Olive Crest just launched a game-changing regional initiative, and heavy hitters from the LA and Orange County Human Trafficking Task Forces, Anaheim Police Department, LA Sheriff’s Department, LA County District Attorney and Department of Children and Family Services came out to back it (special shoutout to our client, Waymakers, who co-administers the OC task force and is an amazing partner).
Armed with $10 million in state funding and powerhouse public-private relationships, Olive Crest’s initiative is rolling out a first-of-its-kind regional safety net network of drop-in centers across LA, Orange, and San Diego Counties to give underage survivors what they need most: mental health care, education and a pathway to safe housing. Add in 24/7 rapid response teams ready to move young victims to safety at a moment’s notice, and you’ve got a serious blueprint for change.
