With 1 in 8 U.S. women facing a breast cancer diagnosis in her lifetime, City of Hope Orange County celebrated life beyond cancer with a heartfelt tribute in pink during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

Physicians traded their white lab coats for pink ones before surprising dozens of patients and survivors with custom pink bomber jackets, honoring their journeys and celebrating survivorship.

Together with the City of Hope OC team, we welcomed LA Times’ Daily Pilot, The Orange County Register, Spectrum News 1 and leading multicultural media to capture the touching surprise tribute and share patients’ inspiring stories.
