Following its debut last month at City of Hope Orange County, “This is Hope” came to life through a collaboration between City of Hope Orange County, South Coast Plaza and Pacific Chorale. Created to celebrate cancer survivors, the striking installation at Jewel Court featured towering letters spelling out “HOPE” adorned with hundreds of bells. Visitors were invited to tie handwritten notes of encouragement, healing and remembrance to each bell, turning the display into a living tribute
of love and resilience.
The emotional centerpiece was elevated during a special evening reception for City of Hope Orange County’s VIP guests, where the Pacific Chorale performed four breathtaking sets. Their harmonies echoed through the Court, stopping shoppers in their tracks and stirring both joy and tears. This collaboration was inspiring to all who encountered it and a reminder that hope rings loudest when we lift each other up.
