Did you know the World’s Tallest Fresh-Cut Christmas Tree is in Southern California? Every year, Citadel Outlets shares this magical tree with the community, from scouting the perfect white fir in Mount Shasta to transporting it 600 miles and rebuilding it branch by branch with over 1,000 ornaments and 18,000 lights.
Each year, Reveille helps share this tradition far and wide and this year was no different. The team secured 120 features celebrating the tree, reaching more than 71 million people, with segments on Good Day LA, KABC, NBC4, and KTLA among many others. LAist senior editor Rene Lynch brought Citadel Outlets’ larger-than-life holiday celebration to readers and listeners in a beautiful collab feature. Her interview with the center’s general manager Ken Crow was also recorded for their sister station, 89.3 KPCC.
