At Families Forward (FF), giving back is more than a good deed, it’s a family tradition. What started with longtime Irvine residents Maureen and Tony Mossbarger volunteering in retirement has now grown into three generations of service. Their daughter, Kate Starr, who also serves on the FF Board, has picked up the torch with everything from backpack drives to gala committees and family volunteer nights. Her two young sons even pitch in, proving you are never too small to make a big impact. Together, the Starr and Mossbarger families remind us that service is the best kind of family bonding.
