Strawberry Season Shines at the Ecology Center

As strawberry season peaks in Orange County, The Ecology Center is harvesting fruit and creating connection to the land. At the 28-acre regenerative organic farm, more than 30,000 pounds of strawberries will be grown this season, with families invited into the fields for hands-on U-pick experiences show where food begins.

The impact goes beyond the rows. From supporting local artisans to on-site dining at Campesino Café, strawberries tell the story from soil to plate. Team Reveille introduced key Southland media—Los Angeles Times’ Daily Pilot food writer Sarah Mosqueda, Good Day LA’s Koco McAboy, and KNX News’ Margaret Carrero—to the farm, “cultivating” a fresh crop of coverage.
