For 25 years, Waymakers’ Clothesline Project has given survivors a platform to be seen and heard. What began with just eight t-shirts in 2001 has grown into a collection of more than 1,000 shirts, each created by (or in honor of) a survivor of sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking and other violent crimes.
Throughout Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April, Waymakers brought the installation to college campuses across Orange County. The impactful visuals drew media to the exhibit at Cal State Fullerton, with ABC7 and The Orange County Register telling the story. We’re grateful to the Waymakers team for trusting us to help amplify survivor voices and highlight the critical support services they provide.
