When the U.S. Food and Drug Administration rapidly approved daraxonrasib, a targeted therapy bringing new hope to eligible patients with advanced pancreatic cancer, City of Hope Orange County was ready to share what the breakthrough could mean for patients. Their experts played a pivotal role in advancing the therapy, which targets KRAS, the genetic driver behind more than 90% of pancreatic cancers. City of Hope was also among the first cancer centers in the country to offer eligible patients access to daraxonrasib through the FDA’s Expanded Access Program.
