Today, Orange County’s own Pacific Symphony is recognized as the largest orchestra formed in the last 50 years. And credited with raising the organization to the level and prominence of other top-tier orchestras in America (think New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony Orchestra), is our very own local hero, Music Director Carl St.Clair. A Laguna Beach resident, St.Clair has spent the last 35 years dedicated to the growth and artistic excellence of Pacific Symphony.
Pacific Symphony recently hosted an exceptional Opening Night celebration honoring the maestro with a beautiful reception and seated dinner preceding the first concert of the 2024-25 Classical season – a blockbuster performance of works by Rachmaninoff and Beethoven.
The impact St.Clair’s journey has had on the Symphony and community was apparent in the energy and ambiance of the event, and Reveille had the incredible privilege of sharing the moment with the media, leading up to, during and following the exciting evening. The team collaborated with KTLA who featured the event in the 10 p.m. Entertainment Report. Additionally, The Orange County Register showcased the maestro on the front page the morning of Opening Night, and stories were shared in Symphony Magazine, Culture OC, UNE News Express, World Journal, Classical Voice and more.
