There’s never a dull moment along the coast during the summer, and beachside concessions is one of the hottest spots there is! Longtime Reveille client Alicia Cox and PRJKT Restaurant Group have been taking Bolsa Chica and Huntington State Beaches by storm, transforming the way people experience beachside dining. This summer has been no exception, especially during the annual U.S. Open of Surfing. Right before the competition kicked off, popular dining destination SeaLegs at the Beach was transformed into the Regal Beagle for the world’s largest “Mrs. Roper Romp,” a tribute to the “Three’s Company” character that included themed drinks, cover bands, trivia and, of course, curly red wigs.
Reveille was proud to secure coverage for the Mrs. Roper Romp in the Daily Pilot and earn not one, not two, but three of Alicia’s concession locations a spot on the Orange County Register’s picks to eat and drink for the surfing competition. This list, which was syndicated by all Southern California News Group papers across SoCal, featured eateries SeaLegs on the Beach, Sahara Sandbar & Pizza with the Volkswagen ice cream mobile, known as “Sea Scoops,” as favorite spots for a delicious bite when taking a break from the action.
